I have forgotten to correctly ID my submission. What can I do?
Depending on the type of assessment, you may be able to retake the photograph with your ID paper in it and resubmit. For example, if it was an assessment using the practice skin, you can simply retake the photographs. For live model assessments that require photographs or videos at different stages, you may need to practise the skill again and create a whole new submission. You can also take a photo of your setup with authentication, so long as it’s the same place you did the assessment and that’s clear in the images we can use this to authenticate, please get in contact with us to discuss this option.
Can I work in the industry with this certificate?
At Omnia Tattoo Academy, we focus on real-world tattooing skills through industry-led training. While our certificate strengthens your resume, success in tattooing depends on your artistry, technique, and portfolio—not just a qualification.
Before working with live models, you must complete one mandatory infection control units (SHBB, QLD students HLT) through an RTO (Registered Training Organization) in Module 5. These are included in your course cost and are essential for industry safety:
SHBBINF002 – Maintain Infection Control Standards
HLTINF005 – Infection Prevention for Skin Penetration
Once completed, you’ll return to finish the course and refine your skills.
Tattoo licensing varies by location, so check with your local government to ensure you meet all legal and health standards. Staying compliant is key to a successful career.
